2025 Start Dates

The first day of school for Year 8 students is Monday 3 February 2024. Year 8 students can go straight to their classrooms when they arrive at school.

The first day of school for Year 7 students  is Tuesday 4 February 2024. Students will gather in the foyer ready for our pōwhiri which will start at 8:45am. Whānau are welcome to attend the pōwhiri if you wish.

Chromebooks and Stationery

We use Chromebooks for a lot of our learning, we are part of the Ako Hiko cluster. There is an option to purchase a 2025 ACER C734 Chromebook at a subsidised cost if your child does not already have an Ako Hiko device. These cost $510, including comprehensive insurance and a bag. We are supported by the Ako Hiko Trust who contribute towards the device. This brings the cost down to $370 for parents to purchase. This is an excellent deal for a quality Chromebook! You are able to purchase these outright, or can pay them off with a deposit of $40 and then a weekly amount over one year. We also use a small amount of stationery in classes to support learning. Stationery packs are available to purchase from the school office for $10.00. The school office will be open for purchasing stationery packs from the 29th January, 8:30am - 2:30pm.
